The fabric is thinner than I expected, but not too thin and not see-through, and it does have a bit of stretch to it. Unfortunately it didn't fit me right. I have broad shoulders and it was just too tight on top, and a bit loose in the waist so sizing up wouldn't help either. I'm 5'8", 170 lbs, and 36B, and usually wear an 8 or 10 in dresses. Disappointed to send this back... would have been so cute for spring!
